With all due respect you are a single individual and not a national
media outlet.  There are anti-semites in every country and Michael is
not saying, "all Brits are anti-semites".  He is saying that the media
opinion being reflected is grossly biased towards those few
anti-semites around.

I grew up in the southern part of US and there are still signs from
the 50's and 60's that read, "<racial slur for blacks> don't let the
sun set on your black <alternate word for donkey> in our town
tonight!"

If a news crew filmed only that and those people that support that
opinion, the bias would be that people in that town are bigoted and
racist.  Some would think that the town still holds and supports those
racist views and that the majority of residents are racists.  Common
logic points that to be anything but the truth but in thinking that
everyone is common logic we make an assumption that isn't always true.
