umm yeah .. but isnt the reason they are investigating/refining the cloning procedure to be able to mass clone quickly/easily/effectivly ... I personally cannot see a single reason for cloning a cat ... I thought the idea of cloning other animals (not saying i agree) is for increased yield of meat with less waste products etc... and maybe for spare parts manufacturer. Who needs more cats!, The animal shelters are overrun with abandoned cats/dogs/etc... Yes there are enough cats, they are doing well enough in the procreating without our help. ;)
ps: i'm a cat person, luv ma cats :) -+ SteG +- -----Original Message----- From: Raymond Camden [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 15 February 2002 13:28 To: CF-Community Subject: RE: Texas A&M clones a cat I know your joking, but the reporter on the Today show this morning was really worried about this - she asked the guy if this was going to add to the over population problem. Um... excuse me - but isn't cloning a _delicate_ process. I mean, it's not like were popping out clones 10-20 a day or something. rc > -----Original Message----- > From: Howie Hamlin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2002 6:15 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Texas A&M clones a cat > > > http://www.cnn.com/2002/HEALTH/02/14/cloned.cat.reut/index.html > > <social commentary> > Aren't there enough cats? > </social commentary> > > ______________________________________________________________________ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
