Illegal Aliens are NOT the Same as Immigrants Tomorrow is May Day 2007 for the National Immigrant Solidarity Network. That means tomorrow, hundreds of thousands of âimmigrants rightsâ groups are going to be protesting in the streets of major U.S. cities, including Dallas and Los Angeles. Therefore, tomorrow should be a perfect day for rounding up and deporting illegal aliens. But that wonât happen, because our politicians lack the intestinal fortitude to do so. Our media will portray these protests as such for immigrant rights, but illegal aliens are NOT legal immigrants. Illegals should have no right to be here, much less receive free education, free health services, driversâ licenses, or protest in our streets. Of course, donât expect any help from our elected âleaders.â The Elephant Party leaders are backed by businesses and corporations who want to continue flooding the workplace with cheap, illegal labor. Meanwhile, the Donkey Party wants the voting farm that usually comes from people receiving free social services and government aid. Will anyone stand up for the majority of American who wants illegal immigration stopped? One would think the Democrats and workersâ unions would want to stop the current flood of cheap illegal labor, as such a pool for employers does nothing but bring down the wages and bargaining power of legal U.S. employees, which hurts lower and middle class America, the groups that Democrats claim to represent. But was the subject of illegal immigration even brought up in last weekâs debate between Democratic presidential candidates? Want proof that the Republican Party leaders donât give a damn? Back in January, Texas Governor Rick Perry officially announced his opposition to repeal a law that allows for college tuition reductions for illegal aliens, a law he signed off on himself six years ago. With the first GOP presidential debate scheduled for this Thursday, we will see how/if the issue of illegal immigration is brought up. One thing is for sure, if given the chance, guys like Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo, and Ron Paul will give the Big 3 all they can handle, hopefully exposing the frontrunners as potential do-nothings on the issue. As Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani pushed legislation making free government services more accessible to illegals. Senator John McCain teamed with ultra-liberal Ted Kennedy and introduced an amnesty bill for 12 million illegal aliens, and speculation is that much of the big business donors for Mitt Romney are the same who want to continue the cheap illegal labor pool. Can tomorrow serve as a wake-up call for America, or will we just tune out to the real issues at hand and tune in to American Idol and Dancing with the Stars? Meanwhile, GOP candidates Hunter, Paul and Tancredo need to put major pressure on Giuliani, McCain and Romney when the debates and real campaigning kick in. Illegal immigration is currently draining money from our school systems and hospitals while keeping down wages of legal U.S. workers. The good people of this country need to stand up and say ENOUGH. Enough with politicians looking the other way so their political donors and interests can be padded and enough with allowing the media to keep grouping illegal aliens in with all immigrant workers. Being anti-illegal immigration is NOT the same as anti-immigrant. Also, enough with businesses knowingly hiring illegals. These employers need to be punished harshly, $25k per illegal fine for first offense, $50k per illegal second offense, and revocation of business license and jail time on third offense. Which presidential candidates will quickly and effectively address this problem? It wonât be any of the three frontrunners the GOP powers keep shoving down our throats. Wake up, America. Take a stand. Tomorrow, thousands of people who broke our sovereignty laws to get here will be marching in the streets demanding for MORE rights!! As it already stands, your tax dollars are funding free education for illegals and/or their children. While you struggle to afford healthcare insurance, illegals are receiving free healthcare, and our government officials donât have the balls to deduct those costs from foreign aid to the respective countries. And donât forget, those of you in Texas, Rick Perry says your tax dollars should fund college tuition breaks for illegal aliens. This is an invasion into the United States of America without a single shot being fired, except for when border drug gangs shoot at our Border Patrol and National Guard, and our politicians are selling us out for money and political power.
