I haven't gotten as many movies (I've bought four... but three were a "buy-two-get-one-free" deal at Best Buy) but I have to agree. Even on my aging set (a 1080i/480p only Samsung) the picture quality is noticeably better (even by casual observers). I love the enhanced menus (although on my set they're sometimes hard to read). My only real problem is that Sony decided to save 30 cents by not including an IR port on the PS3.
