I've had DirecTV for years, their customer service has been great (IMO) Their installation techs are knowledgeable and fast.
I dropped Media General Cable after they were bought by Cox, and their rotten customer service really went in the toilet. Got a dish and never looked back. I'm getting Sunday Ticket, 'cause it's the only way I can watch Redskins games in Raleigh. You'll need a 5 LNB dish and the H20 or H30 receiver. You can either plug an aftermarket DVR in the chain or get their HD DVR package. You can buy DirecTV equipment at Best Buy or through DirecTV. I can send you the "refer an friend deal". -- Scott Stewart ColdFusion Developer SSTWebworks 4405 Oakshyre Way Raleigh, NC. 27616 (703) 220-2835 http://www.sstwebworks.com http://www.linkedin.com/in/sstwebworks -----Original Message----- From: Crow T. Anyone got the DirecTV NFL ticket? I need to either buy that or head to a sports bar to see my Pats. I'm leaning towards trading in Comcast for DirecTV, but I have heard horror stories about customer service, and the equipment needed (I need a DVR, which I have heard is crazy expensive). Bars are fun, but one never can *really* watch sports there - too many distractions and noise, etc. Not to mention I'm out of market... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get the answers you are looking for on the ColdFusion Labs Forum direct from active programmers and developers. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?forumid-72&catid=648 Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:240418 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
