I just threw my 2 cents in... Here's my theory.
When we identify something as being harmful, in general, we should work towards correcting it. Or doing things in a more preferable way.... Although I cannot prove (and don't care to) that greenhouse gases cause a temperature increase in our atmosphere, I don't think that we can deny that fossil fuel emissions are somewhat (at least) harmful. Car emissions are not the most harmful of fossil fuel emissions, but they are harmful. On a large scale, we're dealing with numbers and equations that end up as theory. Because we simply can't prove one side or the other. We're left with theory. Which to some degree means, "well, we're not quite sure.... pretty sure"... Lock yourself in a garage with a running car... eventually you will die. Multiply the cars by ****** however many and the square miles of air (atmosphere) and we can hardly tell for sure... because there is no immediate effect... maybe for years. And that (I believe) impairs our ability to mesure any adverse effect. Because, we're not quite sure how to mesure or figure out what the earth's atmosphere does naturally. That's why we're stuck with great minds on both sides. I'm more comfortable in going with what I know..... My 2 more cents....
