definitely.....My diesel truck always got it's best mileage on the  
highway.  Put it in traffic and it sucked the go juice down a lot  
quicker.  Stop and go mileage is what swayed my decision on hybrid vs  
waiting for the new Jetta.  I figure with as much traffic that I tend  
to sit in, the diesel engine would just be burning fuel like any other  
vehicle, while in the hybrid, it doesn't.
