But the most I know of him was that he was one of the first perceptual 
psychologists, and one of the most influential of the early European 
psychologists after Wundt and Fetchner. His theories of Intentionality and his 
theory of perception are still being  taught in psych departments at 
universities. He's responsible for many of the basic concepts in perceptual 
psych.

I'll have to dig through my textbooks for grad school for more information.
