circa 1984 i was in a private school here in salisbury, and we got a major
donation to the math/computer department (although the computer
part never existed before that at our school) and they gave us 10 or so
TRaSh-80's and we began by learning DOS, how to use an A drive
with 5.5 inch FLOPPY disks, and how to write a program that would

10 printscrn "you are in a dark hallway, there is a switch on the wall"
20 go to 10

or whatever, you get the point...

then, from that moment on my mother said she couldnt get my hands
off of a computer, and that any time one of them came around, i was
on it... no matter what... now, mind you, out of 4 siblings, i was the
only one who took so hard to it, none of my others can do much more than
run word and do some net stuff...

anyway, i gave computers up for punane around the age of 15 or 16 and
didnt pick anything back up REALLY hardcore until like 21 when momma
said... well, i think you should try this... its called html, and we make
"Pages" out of it, and you can use this "LView Pro" to make pictures and
scan pictures into it, and save them, and put them on the "internet" and you
view them through "netscape .99"... well, as they say, from that moment on
the rest is history, and here i am ... making ridiculous money, doing what
i love... i dont work, i enjoy computers and then i get to play golf
when im not!

:)
