Wow, that is another term I have not heard in awhile (BBS).
Myself and two friend ran a BBS also running a 2400 and a 14.4 (BOCA Modem)
We used the TriBBS software from a company in Maine.

We also ran with WildCat before as well.

I ran my first BBS on a CoCo III (128k, had 256 colors) with a 1200 baud
modem.

Program loaded off cassette, text files were on one floppy and the
messages were on another one.

Man, how things have changed!
