Very true...a Christian is most certainly supposed to share their faith and 
evangelize,  that is a very different thing from *praying* in private. Prayer 
should be a time of introspection and done for personal growth, not done as a 
public display (not to be confused with group prayer). The Bible warns us 
against vanity and the point is that prayer should not be done to gain 
recognition or applause. But for a true Christian, faith is public, not 
private. The trick is learning how to properly apply your faith and morals to 
politics and social change in ways that are appropriate and do not violate the 
rights of others, much as Dr. King and others did during the time of the civil 
rights movement, they accomplished what they wanted not by forcing it on 
people, but by changing the way the nation thought. Personally I think fighting 
over a license plate is just silly, if you really need to profess your faith on 
your vehicle, get a bumper sticker!
