Very true...a Christian is most certainly supposed to share their faith and evangelize, that is a very different thing from *praying* in private. Prayer should be a time of introspection and done for personal growth, not done as a public display (not to be confused with group prayer). The Bible warns us against vanity and the point is that prayer should not be done to gain recognition or applause. But for a true Christian, faith is public, not private. The trick is learning how to properly apply your faith and morals to politics and social change in ways that are appropriate and do not violate the rights of others, much as Dr. King and others did during the time of the civil rights movement, they accomplished what they wanted not by forcing it on people, but by changing the way the nation thought. Personally I think fighting over a license plate is just silly, if you really need to profess your faith on your vehicle, get a bumper sticker! --- Mary Jo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:263584 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
