You miss my point. Did you use Froogle? No? No one else did either.
How about Google Checkout? I think it has a respectable position, but
it is not exactly dominating the ecommerce market.

Most of these things will never be heard of by the general population.
That's what I mean.

Everyone know search, Gmail, Maps. Beyond that? Most people don't even
know about Google Docs, I would wager, and that is a fairly successful
product.
