I can agree with that.  I'm potent out to ~20 yards then it's downhill from
there.  Might be able to increase that with more practice.  I'm sure putting
some more lead downrange with it will help... (and I just happen to have 500
more rounds of cheapo SMC sitting here waiting to party with me). 

I really like the grips on the new 24/7 models.  They have little rubber
ribs on it which allows for a really comfortable grip.  I also have small
hands so this particular model really fit the bill for me.  You can also get
a 15 Round clip with an extender sleeve (it comes with a 1 10 and 1 15 out
of the box).  My second 15 is already on order.

I'd say that Taurus is the best lower end manufacturer on the market.

I tried one of their sub-compact .45s out and really like it.  The tiny
barrel just wasn't accurate enough for me for daily carry.
