compete because their technology is shit.

You are so clueless. Do oil and coal have an advantage because of existing
infrastructure? Well duh. It is up to alternative energy producers to
overcome those obstacles. Alternatives can't be just as good, or slightly
better, than existing technologies. They have to be a lot better than
existing technologies to become disruptive. Where is the disruptive
technology? Solar sucks at scale. Wind sucks at scale. There is only one
existing technology that is a lot better than fossil fuels at scale and that
is nuclear.

You want to support building a bunch of nuclear plants? I'm all for it.
