I would have been quite happy to see that POS die. As I have been saying recently, when Bush said he was a "compassionate conservative", we should have read that to mean, "Big Spender-in-Chief". And as I also said, Bush's primary mistake, IMHO, was thinking that he could ever outspend a Democrat.
