Condolences. I read the entry to my kids. They (especially my daughter, 7 years old) don't really understand what it means, but it's been eating at me that people just don't seem to understand that we're actually at war. I really wonder... if you polled American 5th graders how many of them would actually know that we're at war? Sadly I think the answer would be "few".
