No, I hate them because this is the story of AB, steal from someone else, destroy them and make millions off of their product.. it's principle.
I won't support a company who's putting small breweries out of business to steal their product. The same small breweries that consistently produce better product, and who's combined sales have made a good dent in AB's bottom line. Dominion Ale was a cheap good ale, and I can't sit down in the brewery tap room and enjoy an *ahem* "American Ale" RIP Dominion Brewery -----Original Message----- From: G Money [mailto:gm0n3...@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, January 04, 2010 2:31 PM To: cf-community Subject: Re: because I'm a nit picker On Mon, Jan 4, 2010 at 1:24 PM, Scott Stewart <sstwebwo...@bellsouth.net>wrote: > > AB is personal, they bought my favorite local brewery in Northern Virginia > (Dominion) and dismantled it, in the process they stole the recipe for > Dominion Ale and created "Budweiser American Ale". > Since this thread is all about pickin' nits..... If they stole your brewery's recipe, and released it as "Budweiser American Ale"...why do you care that it's now under another label? If it still tastes the same....drink it! Oh, and since it's now owned by a larger brewer with more buying power, it's probably cheaper! You should love AB! :) -- We're baptized in these waters And in each others blood ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
