You need to ease up on the coffee I think. You get pretty worked up.

I think I may have explained this before, but this is an email list
not a PhD dissertation. I'm just telling you what I hear from people
that do the research. And those people are saying 2 things:

(1.) The world's energy *demand* will increase exponentially until it
can't due to supply.

(2.) The limiting factor will be liquid fuels. Here's what's going to
happen within the next 3-5 years:

a.) As the economy (fake) recovers the broken market for liquid fuels
will yield demand far out-pacing supply.

b.) In response liquid fuel prices will rise and never come back down.

c.) This will trigger both inflation and recession as transportation
and materials costs sky rocket.

d.) There'll be 2 choices to switch over: natural gas engines and/or
electric vehicles. In either case, it'll be a huge cost to our fuel
stations, families, etc as they have to buy new vehicles. If it's
electric that'll tax our already crumbling electric infrastructure
which will mean we'll need to fix that as well as build coal or nuke
plants. If it's nukes that'll take 10-15 years.

e.) There'll be large migrations to cities as suburban living, with
it's associated travel costs, becomes too expensive but then food will
become a problem so there's an alternative de-centralization theory.

No of course we could start planning for this now before the crisis,
but we're too stupid to do that. Sam will claim we don't need to and
you'll pull out your government statistics and so the public won't
support it without the crisis.

And the public is lulled by this past economic crisis. They don't
realize that the only reason they're not destitute is because the fed
can print money.

The problem with an energy crisis is that the government can't print energy.

But maybe we come up with some new energy supply before all of this happens.
