Actually, that facebook page is for Gov Brewer, not for supporting the bill, which are NOT quite the same thing.
Riots (plural) is also inaccurate. There was one disturbance. About what happens at Walmart on a sale day. But I will admit I am all for this legislation. Not generic "lock em all up", not "card everyone", but this particular bill I think is well crafted to do what they desire needs to be done. I cannot see where all of the rhetoric about "demanding papers" is coming from. The bill just doesn't allow that, and more than domestic abuse laws allows the arrest of every man with a six pack of beer and a Skoal ring. I also like the fact that it explicitly takes steps to check the status of anyone coming out of jail, goes after employers, and even takes steps against "sanctuary cities". overall, I thought it a very simple, but well written bill. I do agree that the fed and local citizens need to keep a close eye on how it is IMPLEMENTED, to make sure no abuses are done in the name of the law, but that is true about any legislation.
