"If there IS suddenly a huge problem with jobs going unfilled, and the economy suffers for it, then there WILL be a change to the number and types of LEGAL immigrants that are allowed in - because we all know that those who's pocketbooks are most likely to be affected are also those most likely to be able to change the laws."
Supply and demand dictates that someone will take the jobs, maybe at a higher rate of pay. It doesn't have to be immigrants who fill the jobs though. There are plenty of people in CA looking for jobs. Another side to increasing costs could be lower taxes. Without the government supporting illegals, the taxes SHOULD go down which would help lower costs. However, politicians usually like to keep taxes in place. It will certainly be interesting to watch, especially if other states follow suit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
