I am with you on this one. This is America...not Mexico. I hope their parent sue the shit out of the school district for this. I think the school administrators should apologize to the entire student body for showing a poor example of what the 1st amendment is all about. To fucking bad if the Mexican students were offended. This isn't Mexico so Mexican holidays really don't have any weight. If the Mexican students don't like it, well then, they can go back to Mexico and celebrate it and not have to be worried about those pesky American flags. It's incidents like this that really drive away any sympathy for people who immigrate here and don't bother to become part of the country.

They say they were offended by the five boys and others for wearing American colors on a Mexican holiday. "I think they should apologize cause it is a Mexican Heritage Day," Annicia Nunez, a Live Oak High student, said. "We don't deserve to be get disrespected like that. We wouldn't do that on Fourth of July."' These kids were sent home for wearing American flags, at an American school on a 'Mexican Holiday' that is not really celebrated in Mexico. What's next? Getting expelled for not wearing green on St. Patrick's Day? -- Scott Stroz --------------- You can make things happen, you can watch things happen or you can wonder what the f*&k happened. - Cpt.
