Actually it is part of the religion. In fact, it's called the Great Commision. In Matthew 28:19 Christ tells us to 'go and make disciples of all nations'. Most denominations view it as the third most important teaching in the whole of the Bible (the first two being love God with all your heart and love others as you love yourself). There's also a teaching that says Christ won't return until the whole world has heard the gospel message. I can't quote a verse on that one without spending more time looking for it than I care to though. That said there's a difference between 'spreading the word' and 'screaming the word at the top of your lungs while doing something else'. There's an unfortunate number of people who do the latter. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:317624 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
