That leaves a law abiding citizen defending themselves with a Glock when a criminal breaks into their house with an AK. Bad situation if you ask me.
It may just be me but I really can't bring myself to ponder any more gun control than we have now till we deal with the current black market for guns. As it sits right now you could completely ban all guns tomorrow and have exactly 0 impact on gun related crimes. Deal with the black market first and then I'll be willing to listen to why I shouldn't be able to buy whatever gun I want to buy.
