Why do we still profess surprise at this? Of course it's about oil, at least
to an extent.

Oil is a valuable commodity, and until we no longer need it to function,
it's going to continue to weigh heavily in ALL global decision making....as
it should. Like it or not, oil is important....and limited.....and that
means people will die because of it. Doesn't make it right, but it shouldn't
be surprising.
