I always knew there was a reason I liked beer and nachos. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it? I have always assumed that something like this was the case, and I assume that the big Ag companies either assumed it or knew it empirically. They sell us beer and nachos because we will eat beer and nachos. And Judah hit the nail on the head earlier, they are processing the food out of food and substituting things designed to physically compel you to keep eating. If someone tied you in a chair and forced you to eat until you were obese beyond measure, you would want them tried and imprisoned for kidnapping and torture, but because they program the instructions into the food, you think it's OK. Think people! We're software designers. It's all just programming- the food, our brains, media, society, religion - everything.
