Just got the 64 gig black version. As for apps, if you need a light coding app that handles CF syntax highlighting and code hinting, look at textastic. It also have a 3 or 4 ways of getting code onto the iPad - email, dropbox, iTunes and WebDAV. While its not going to replace my laptop and Eclipse its still a pretty sweet little app. ThinkGeek has a pretty good iPad case with an integrated bluetooth keyboard (http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/bags/e65a/). Again its pretty nice.
