I'm curious too because the wife has all the ebooks and I want a reader or tablet that she can read amazon, borders, barnes all the different versions in one spot. Will one of these readers do that because right now my laptop I have the 3 software packs to open those books. If I have to get one of those 2lb 10" laptops to cure this I would but I'd like to get a small tablet to do it. I've seen someone using the blackberry and opening pdf's, powerpoint, etc and it was a 7". I don't know the OS but the guy loves it and checks his email through the web on it.

All my textbooks for school are PDF. I typically will rotate the Kindle to 'landscape' to be able to read small text..stupid old eyes. For what it was designed for....an eBook reader...it is a great device. If you need to do more, its not for you.
