The primary cycle is exhausting. If the Left is trying to brand him, he is
doing his part to give them ammunition. Like you said before, he's not
ready for prime-time.

The Republican field is fractured because the Republican Party is
fractured. The party establishment can't find a candidate they support.
Young people and independents voting in Iowa like Ron Paul, who says he
doesn't even really want to be President. The beat-Obama crowd wants to
make the race a personality contest between Romney and Obama. And
conservatives are struggling to find a candidate who can live up to their
expectations, and connect with voters, in an age of Internet-connected
everything.
