'This *almost* sounds like 'well, everyone else does it too!'

I hate that argument.

My goal in pointing out an example such as this is not to indicate that it
is okay for someone to lie because everyone else does it.  It is to say
that others who lie should be held to the same standard.  That is, it's not
okay for any of them.


I get the impression that you might think I have some kind of affinity for
Obama, or the left.  I voted for Obama, but I do not like his politics nor
some of what he has done in office.  Yes, he is a liar too. Would I vote
for him again today?  Probably not, if I had any reasonable choice."

I know lots of people in this boat.  They voted for Obama because they
thought he was actually different from other politicians.   Now they want
someone else to vote for but are finding the selection less than appetizing.



"It is why I voted in the Republican primary.  I care who the Republicans
offer as a candidate."

The primary in NC is so late, it won't matter.  The issue will be resolved.

I'll probably write in my choice for President when November gets here.
