Gun control isn't even worth thinking about until fatal car accidents, fire, drowning, poisoning, alcohol, and tobacco related deaths are eliminated. All kill far more than guns and Thomas Jefferson didn't think any of those were important enough to put in the Bill of Rights. Personally I'd be happy give up smoking (eliminating both cause of fire and tobacco deaths!) if any anti-gun nut gives up their car and pool.
If it wasn't for those damn irresponsible redneck car owners who insist on continuing to drive, wouldn't this be a much more wonderful nation? The time and reason for car ownership has past! The government can no longer just stand idly by and watch 10's of thousands of innocent people killed each year! Not to mention all the innocent roadkill.
