Over the last few years I have received dozens upon dozens of e-mail
intended for another William Bowen. Friendly (and not so) messages from
family, anti-Obama secret-Muslim screeds, off-color jokes, the occasional
heartfelt plea for a prayer for this or that.

During all that time I would return a message saying, "I'm sorry, but
you've mistaken me for someone else."

I got a message back once from someone who screamed (All caps) that I
shouldn't be "HACKING [HER] BROTHER'S EMAIL." I told her the FBI scans
email for all caps.

I have also received several notification from porn sites about my new
memberships, insurance statements, the health benefits package links for a
contractor working in DC, and even got the Verizon wireless bill for
several months for a couple whose home address and was included right on
the bill. I sent them a letter since I didn't have their email address. Got
an email requesting that I sign the divorce papers and send them to [her]
lawyer in some town in Virginia.

I have only reset a few passwords. And not on the porn. I figure how bad
off is this guy that's subscribing to GILF-porn and can't remember his own
email address? :-)

I say do it.

Have fun.

:-)
