The SCOTUS ruled that marriage is a basic fundamental right...

Where the constitutional issue comes into play is that by denying gay
marriages, you are violating people's 1st amendment rights and violating the
5th Amendment's Equal Protection clause.  That was highlighted in this where
this woman was taxed when her legal spouse died...had she been in a
heterosexual marriage, this tax would not have been applied.

So you do agree with the statement that if you don't support gay marriage
you hate gays. That's just bizarre. Most of my gay friends don't give a rats
ass about gay marriage and they don't hate gays. Only the ones that hate
hero-sexuals do. In my experience.

Marriage isn't a constitutional right but somehow, now, gay marriage is?
And the way they did that was to label all opposed as haters? A sad day
indeed.
