But if war is always about money, and not ideology....explain to me what is motivating suicide bombers? I think your point about people's interpretation of religious teachings, is worth more than just one sentence. In fact, I think it's just about everything. In fact, you can't even talk about religion unless you are talking about how it's followers are interpretating and acting out their faiths in the modern world.
You talk about the US government's decision to go to war....sure that could be about money. But the Hamas members who are firing rockets....or the Israeli citizens who beat up that kid......their motivation isn't money, it's hatred...hatred fueled by centuries of religion.
