That's actually one of the reasons I love my wife's car (a '98 Chevy
Malibu).  That sucker will go through anything - we get flooding at
least twice a year here and that car will run with it's hood under water
(and has had to at least a few times).

Of course that could be a fluke - and in the end it's still not worth
getting an SUV 365 days a year to prepare for two days a year...

Now my electric bike on the other hand... Well, it'll go through two
feet of water as well, just not nearly as gracefully...
