There are still 3 astronauts in space though...

I guess they'll be shi***ing bricks now. 

But it is not a cool thing to have so many failures. No other country
has the sort of technology and experience at this as America does...so
maybe our technology just isnt' ready for these sorts of missions. 
Maybe we should be doing R&D into some new form of propulsion other than
explosive rocket fuel and throwing a lot of effort toward that.

you have no idea of the complexity involved. NASA has a remarkable 
safety record. We do not know what happened. I do not think we should 
criticize until more is known.
