Probably not. There is a Soyuu capsule still attached to the station that they can use for reentry, and there's a resupply flight scheduled for later this month.
So many failures. Gel you need to look at the record of the European Space Agency's record for the Arianne rocket - so far of the 25 launches, 10 were failures. The shuttle is the most complex system ever to fly, its amazing that it has such a good record. In comparison, look at the start of aviation, and especially flights across the atlantic. Until the 30's there were very few direct flights, as most of those crashed. I am hoping that now NASA will revive the x-plane project as the replacement for the shuttle. At the very least they need to build another shuttle, as there now is only 3 space shuttles. larry >There are still 3 astronauts in space though... > >I guess they'll be shi***ing bricks now. > >But it is not a cool thing to have so many failures.
