Correct. They knew the risks. Just like Test Pilots, fighter pilots...firemen..cops etc. etc.
But that doesn't mean they volunteered for suicide missions. Now I'm not saying the space program has reached that stage for manned flights...but the thing must be analysed. No one wants to stop manned flights into space...but its human life, and there must be an acceptable margin of safety. And once that has been exceeded then the fleet should be grounded. That's all I'm saying. -Gel -----Original Message----- From: Erika L. Walker-Arnold [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Hey Gel, no one forced them to be astronauts. They willingly took the chance, knowing full well there was always a risk to them not coming back. Don't you know they always think about it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
