spell
> Chanukah, Chanukah, Chanukka, Channukah, Hanukah, Hannukah.
One of the funniest cards I ever got from a Gentile was a Disney card with
Goofy smiling on the front, and the inscription on the inside had Goofy's
numerous attempts to spell "Happy Hannukah", like this:
Happy Hanuka (crossed out)
Happy Channukkah (crossed out)
Happy Chanukka (crossed out)
Happy Hannaka (crossed out)
Happy Hanukuh (crossed out)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I have to admit, though, that to this day, ever time I hear the word it
makes me think of the beginning of an old favorite song of mine:
"Chaka Khan... Chaka Khan..."
