Let me ask you one last thing though:


Would you purchase a console that wouldn't let you use physical media to
load games, would require a broadband connection just to be able to play
games, would have a limited selection of games, would require a credit card
to purchase games, would impose limits on the number of times you played the
game or the length of time you could play it, and wouldn't let you actually
own any games that you've purchased?


Because that's what that article that Angel brought up was talking about.  I
can't see any sane person buying something like that.

Philip,

This guy talks only as if that is what he would do, and not what the general
public would actually do.

He proved that in a previous thread, the phantom looks like a very good all
round entertainment appliance that would be suitable for a range of things
and not just games. But I guess he would not see even that fact.
