I tired moving it to the faster CD drive, but that didn't seem to help. It's all cool and the gang until I am in one of those "move the cursor to find something" scenes.

Which sux, since I could be missing a piece of evidence.

Ok, ill look online through a few articles tonight after class and check it out.  Basically, I just want to know if it is using a 3d engine or just all fmv cut scenes or what.  3d = lower the resolution or get a better video card, fmd, you might look at ghosting the cd to your drive, removing the drive speed factor if your hd has enough space.

Was there an option to do a full install, or partial?  Usually the full install puts everything on the hd and you only need the disk in the drive for copy protection.

Matthew.

Or

Just want to see what kind of games you are trying to run, might be able to offer some tips.

So, to top off my addiction to Law and Order, I bought the game this weekend. My computer is a 1.4 GHZ with around 400 MB of RAM (RDRAM.. damn you Dell).

Anyway, when I load up the game, the scenes look grainy and the mouse is slow to respond. My Video card is an NVida.

Am I just ignorant of the whole process or is there something wrong or is my computer incapable? Anything I can do to make the repsonse faster? (Short of buying more RAM.... RDRAM is ridiculously expensive these days.)
