  This isnt an argument of which is best (We all already which is :) ) it is a point that customers are NOT always informed of all the facts.. So therefore many developers/customers belive that because something is simply "free" to put on the server.. it's is the solution.

While I do agree that in some cases PHP or .NEt is the route to go.. that is not always the case (specially because of cost).

I know .NET, PHP and CF all very well (I use all languages all the time) but this is the biggest misconception.. If it's free and you already have it.. go with that!

That is the point we are trying to make.
