Why in the world people allow domain registrations from these off-the-wall
registrar resellers.
It seems that they are just asking for problems.

This said, there are a number of registrars who are trying to make it really
hard to get transferred.

Especially with people like Registerfly.com (part of enom.com) are doing
transfers for $6.99 and extending the domain for a year at the same time, and
then providing free name servers as well.
