> Does CF8 install its own ODBC drivers? No. As Jochem said, CF uses a bridge. This bridge is called SequeLink, and consists of the two ODBC services in your services list. Within the CF Administrator, you choose "ODBC Socket" to connect to an existing ODBC datasource. So, you'd define your Excel ODBC data source as a system datasource within the ODBC Administrator application within Administrative Tools, then you'd specify that datasource by name when creating your ODBC Socket datasource within CF.
