Yes - I know that MySQL 4/5 uses uses a jar file located under your CF
installation dir EX:

C:\ColdFusion_install_Dir\wwwroot\WEB-INF\lib\mysql-
connector-java-5.0.4-bin.jar

I am assuming CF 8 shipped with this because I did didn't place it there,...
That and in CF 7 you had to DL the Mysql driver from the Mysql site (Due to
redistribution issues) and place it in the above dir in order to get Mysql
4/5 to work correctly.
