I used to admin an Imail server (version 3-4).
The only security caveat I remember was that in v3, all the account info was
stored in the registry (including passwords). The passwords were encrypted
-- just not very well (I had to actually use the security flaw to migrate to
a later version :). In subsequent versions, you could use an ODBC
datasource to store account info (which is pretty cool - I used SQL Server).

That registry doodad probably doesn't apply to whatever the most recent
version is, but it's cool that you can use an external datasource to store
account data -- helps in integrating your mail server with other
applications.

Lee - pretty reasonable price. How secure is it?

Gives you RFC-compatible SMTP, POP, LDAP, IMAP, and Webmail servers. Their
press releases claim 50 million licenses sold.

But will not give any of the proprietary Exchange groupware.
