I agree - I think with a non-compiled language like CF, you need to be even MORE disciplined. With a compiled language, you know really darn fast if something is broken - often it won't compile.
With CF, it may take a while to stumble upon the error, and the further you get from where the breakage was committed, the harder it is to find where it was introduced, and assign appropriate blame :) On 5/11/07, Bobby Hartsfield <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Again, I think there is a huge difference when it comes to versioning Java > or C++ applications vs. web apps like CF. > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=RVJQ Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:277790 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
