Hi Jochem, Well, I tried working with Adobe Printer driver and never had any success getting this to work. Do you have any other pointers you could give me on this.. I can't afford to fork over 50k for livecycle server for this one purpose. What else does liveCycle Server include that would be useful to a CF developer?

Have you got this working? Never tried it with ColdFusion / cfprint, but I got it working with LiveCycle and their equivalent of cfexecute. In essence it is just a command line print with the PDF printer driver configured to never ask questions and always print to the same folder / file protected by a giant lock. First get it working from the command line, then try from CF. And don't worry if the process doesn't exit afterwards, subsequent print commands will just use the same process.
