If you're doing "canned" PDFs (think report builder style) there's a custom tag for Railo which runs jasperreport JRXML files. I think it will work on CF9 too, but I haven't tested it lately. The UI for iReport is freaking awesome, and works on a ton of platforms and whatnot. Excellent stuff.
