This, the lack of simple installation, in my opinion is the biggest impediment to attracting new people to the CF open source, if not many open source alternatives. It is, again in my opinion, much easier to learn the ins and outs of a working configuration than one where you have to take hours to learn to configure before you even know if it is a solution. We looked at Ralio for an open source solution on a project but decided on Open Blue Dragon because we could get it running quickly and easily.
