I was about to say the same thing.  People who are on vacation 
aren't going to be running their mail clients, so Outlook 
settings aren't relevant.  It's the mail *server* that's doing 
the autoresponding.  I believe people must be thinking of some 
Exchange feature that can be set through Outlook.
